Overview
With this campaign, my goal was to dive deeper into the New Zealand Muslim community on an intimate level, bringing to light the thoughts and feelings many of us carry quietly and keep hidden from the wider community.
We invited members of the local Muslim community to anonymously submit a thought: something they had always wished to say, but never found the space for. We wanted to explore these unspoken feelings and authentic moments to foster reflection, healing, and connection within our community.
As Creative Director, I curated and paired these community submissions with archived film and personal childhood photos from the Ummah Unmuted team. The following collection reflects those shared experiences, and we hope it resonates with you as deeply as it did with us when we first received these responses.
